Since my order from Target arrived this morning, I decided I wanted to share with you guys what I got. A little back story here, I have been wanting to change the look of my master bath for a while. I have tossed around ideas and scoured through Pinterest and other inter design blogs, when I realized my tastes have completely changed. I used to love dark colors and had a love for a more traditional look. Now I gravitate towards light, airy, and simple designs. Complete 180, I know. Then as the saying goes, nothing lasts forever. Anyway I originally went on to Targets website to find a new toothbrush holder. The one I had was too small to fit two tubes of toothpaste and two toothbrushes. As luck would have, I stumbled onto this beauty. I will also provide links to everything I purchased.
I next checked out the bath mats, since mine was old and dingy. I wanted one in the color white since my bathroom is so small. White also is versatile, as it can go with almost any thing. Here below is my bath mat. As you can see it’s not really a fluffy rug, but I am not a big fan of the traditional bath mats, anyway. It does do a really good job of soaking up water and I really like the design.
You may also notice a glimpse of my shower curtain, which I also purchased at Target about 3 years ago. I checked this morning and they still carry it. Here is the link if you are interesting in checking it out: Waffle Weave Shower Curtain White – Threshold™ While looking at bath mats, I stumbled up a non slip shower mat. It has suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place on your shower floor. And trust me from experience it does work! As a klutz I actually almost had and accident the day after placing it in my shower. It kept me from acquiring, yet another bruise on my body. Here it is below.Pebble Bath Mat Clear – Room Essentials™
As a side note, if you are confused that both the bath mat and shower mat say clear. I copied and pasted the description directly from Targets website. For some reason the Nate Berkus mat is listed as Pebbles bath mat clear on their website.
Back to my haul, the last item(s) I got, actually had nothing to do with my bathroom, but I have been wanting to get this forever. It is throw pillows. I have probably spent hours searching for affordable throw pillows for my couches. You might be thinking, why don’t you make your own. Well, the truth is I am absolutely terrible at sewing. So you can see why I was so excited to find a set of two throw pillows on Targets website for only $20.99. Since the reviews were very positive, I decided I would give it a shot. I ended up buying two sets because I have to two couches. Like the reviews said, they are great quality for the price and come in many colors.
This concludes my Target Haul. Hope I gave you guys some ideas for how to redo your bathroom and stay tuned for more decorating tip. Plus I will continue to take you guys on my journey of redoing my master bath.
